About Dr Johnston
Dr Bill Johnston is an experienced Ear, Nose and Throat Specialist providing care to patients across the Mid North Coast and Sydney.
He consults in Port Macquarie and Chatswood, with a focus on making ENT care more accessible and easier to navigate — especially for patients living regionally.
Bill sees a wide range of ENT conditions for both adults and children, including nasal and sinus problems, adenoids and grommets, chronic ear infections. He does not perform tonsil surgery, and more complex ear conditions may be referred to subspecialist otologists where appropriate.
His approach is practical and straightforward:
To help patients understand their options early, avoid unnecessary appointments, and connect with the right specialist care as efficiently as possible.
Not every condition requires surgery. Not every surgery can be done locally. Bill works closely with patients and referrers to make those pathways clear from the outset.
